1952hatter: The benefit system, universal credit, needs to be geared to make work pay assuming work is available. Not allowing claimants to turn jobs down a number of times and making the tax system more friendly to lower paid jobs might help.

1952hatter: Works every time. A paper bag or similar placed over the nose and mouth and then breathing into it for a time will stop hiccups. You're taking oxygen out of your system.

Undisclosedhatter: The scrapping of replays is an absolute disgrace, clubs like Ebbsfleet won't even get a chance to go to one of the top league 1 clubs for a replay, its not even all about playing one of the big 6
Apr 19, 2024 16:29:48 GMT
Undisclosedhatter: Then again i suppose several clubs even in the lower leagues can't be bothered with replays, if it affects their chances of promotion or staying up
Apr 19, 2024 16:31:57 GMT
Undisclosedhatter: Do lower league teams really want replay after replay with clubs in their own divison for example
Apr 19, 2024 16:33:45 GMT
1952hatter: I think every fan of every Club below halfway in the Premier League down to every club who qualify for the FA Cup is saying the same crazy. That's what you get when you 'dance with the devil'.
Apr 19, 2024 16:33:49 GMT
Undisclosedhatter: I think extra time should be scrapped aswell, at least it gives the lower rank team a chance of winning on pens
Apr 19, 2024 16:37:14 GMT
Undisclosedhatter: If for example we get Man city away we'll have to beat them in extra time or on pens, we can't take them back to the kenny anymore
Apr 19, 2024 16:38:42 GMT
1952hatter: Tragic if a non-league team manage a 90 minute draw at home with a top club and then lose the chance of a massive money spinner at Old Trafford or (nearly) similar because of xtime or pens. Alternatively ManCity replaying at Stonebridge Road, perhaps.

Griffo: not just non league teams though is it?? many clubs in leagues under the prem would love a replay at home but on saying that i do not know how the money is distributed

Undisclosedhatter: Still no players back from injury for tomorrow, are clubs/medical staff over cautious these days
Apr 19, 2024 17:13:53 GMT
Undisclosedhatter: Hope fred plays instead of Hashioka at right back, put Kabore in the back three
Apr 19, 2024 17:17:04 GMT
Griffo: he was on the pitch when he collapsed ? if medical tests had been done (by the over cautious) he would not have been there surely?? anyway I am a Man U supporter so will go now and hope you enjoy the game tomorrow at the kenny if you are going?

Undisclosedhatter: You can't compare a heart attack to a hamstring injury stop talking nonsense
Apr 19, 2024 17:57:25 GMT
Undisclosedhatter: Easy to blame players and and say they are soft and weak, but surely its the medical team who say they can play or not
Apr 19, 2024 17:59:04 GMT
Undisclosedhatter: Injuries were never this bad even 10 years ago, but as usual people only compare players of today with the 60s and 70s, so im starting to think its the clubs fault

1952hatter: Morning grif. sky is blue, the sun is shining, the central heating didn't switch on, Kenilworth Road today and winning bets to place. A perfect day.
